The Boston Globe Magazine has announced their 2020 Top 100 Women-Led Businesses in MA. This award recognizes the most noteworthy companies and nonprofits helmed by women in the state. radius is humbled and proud to once again be placed on this prestigious list. That's how we're Making Mortgages Better!
Co-Founder, Sarah Valentini, has been at the helm of radius financial group and radius insurance group since they were founded in 1999 and 2018, respectfully. As a child, Sarah watched her mother use entrepreneurship as outreach. Whether the need was employment, friendship or a good example, she saw how owning your own business could be used to meet it. Today, she has created a person-centric culture which embodies her vision of what mortgage lending should be.
How the list was created: For each organization, The Commonwealth Institute, a nonprofit that supports female business leaders, examined revenue or operating budget as well as other variables, including number of full-time employees in the state, workplace and management diversity, and innovative projects. TCI then ranked organizations according to its own formula. This is the 20th year that TCI has created the list and the eighth year that the Globe Magazine has partnered with the group.
